Blue Hills Towing Company, Inc. was established in May 1969, by William
Nazzaro. In June 1990, the Company's ownership was transferred to
Jacqueline A. Nazzaro. The Company's headquarters was formerly in Milton
until November 1990, then the business was moved to its current headquarters at
258 Willard Street, Quincy. The storage facility is adjacent to the
office.
Over the past 38 years, Blue Hills Towing has performed light, medium, and heavy duty towing and recovery for the Massachusetts State Police, the Milton Police Department, the now defunct Metropolitan Police as well as the defunct Registry of Motor Vehicles. Blue Hills Towing currently owns 18 pieces of equipment consisting of 1 four car carrier, 2 heavy duty wreckers, 4 medium duty wreckers, 4 medium duty ramp trucks, 4 small wreckers, 2 service trucks and 1 small ramp truck as wells as a diesel powered arrow board. The Company also uses other pieces of equipment used in the towing and recovery process. We also have 24 hour access to specialized equipment for extraordinary situations that may arise. All equipment is in close proximity to the Route 128/93/3 loop for immediate response. Blue Hills Towing Company, Inc. has performed towing and/or recovery of ambulances, hearses, sheds, cars, trucks, horses, helicopters, boats, zambonis, campers, trailers, offroad and construction equipment, busses and motorcycles as well as Heavy-duty recoveries of tractor trailer units (loaded and unloaded), sanders, dump trucks, dump trailers, fire trucks, bulldozers, tankers, oil trucks and Sea-Land containers throughout our 36 years in the towing industry. |
